The Stockyard Hill Wind Farm has formerly commenced construction, the project is the largest approved wind farm in the Southern Hemisphere comprising 149 turbines.

Stockyard Hill Wind Farm is a high quality large scale wind farm with planned 530MW capacity. The project will comprise of 149 Goldwind 3S Smart turbines and has an excellent wind resource, a strong grid connection and suitable access to ports and road infrastructure required for construction. It has the potential to power approximately 390,000 homes annually.
